Ali Jamil, I Zlatans fotspår

A message to our Swedish readers: Don’t miss the new tv series I Zlatans fotspår, in which Zlatan Ibrahimović’s former trainers put together a dream team of the best teenage football players they have found in smaller clubs. It premieres tonight at 22.30, but already now you can watch the whole programme here:

The first episode was great. I have only one concern: Where are the girls? Is it really fair to make a show like this without making sure that at least half the team members are female? I can’t wait for the first debate article on the subject.

Dwayne Benjamin Didon, 13-year-old swimmer

There were only two male athletes under 18 in the 2008 Olympics in Beijing. Where as 14-year-old Tom Daley, the Brit who competed in diving, has been blogged about quite a lot, 13-year-old Dwayne Benjamin Didon from the Seychelles hasn’t. Maybe because he wasn’t as successful - he only swam in the 50 m freestyle, where he ended up 4.

Still, Dwayne is my favorite! My absolute favorite!

In this little interview with Dwayne Benjamin Didon (in Swedish), he says: “I will do as many olympics as possible. And I will beat [Michael Phelps] in London 2012.”
