A joker in the David poll!

Five David statues

To spice up the David poll (only 55 persons have voted as I write this), I decided to add a fifth combatant! I know it’s not really fair, but nevermind. Let’s see what the David of Rolf Biebl and Clemens Gröszer (East Germany, 1989) does for the poll action!

Who made the most beautiful David statue? Was it:

  • Antonin Mercié (1872)
  • Michelangelo (1504)
  • Andrea del Verrocchio (1465)
  • Donatello (1430)
  • New! Biebl & Gröszer (1989) (read more here)

Below is a picture of all statues. Pick your favourite!

Erik asked me of a translation of this post. Jesus, Erik! Those drawings, and the text, gave me really bad vibes. Bad energy! To compensate I offer my own drawing.

Buy Dik Fagazine at Ilovemags.com!

Posted on | February 23, 2009 | No Comments

Destroyer 08 featured a review of the latest issue of Dik Fagazine, a fab Polish art/gay magazine. I especially liked the snapshots from everyday life in Bukarest, as well as the beautiful photos from a Romanian mud bath.

I’m happy to announce that Dik now is available at Ilovemags.com!

Dik is shipped to you by the Dik crew in Warsaw. If you want to order Dik and Destroyer at the same time, I ask you to place two separate orders since the magazines are shipped separately. Thanks for understanding!

Interview with Rinrin of Imgsrc.ru

Posted on | October 13, 2008 | 8 Comments

The Russian photo sharing site Imgsrc.ru is up and running again (thanks for letting us know, Josh!) after having been shut down on September 29th 2008.

To celebrate, I publish an interview with Rinrin, whose online art collection has grown considerably since we met in 2006. The article was originally published in Destroyer 03, which you can buy here.

Enjoy! (Click on the images to view them big enough to read the text.)
