Destroyer approved by the German authorities

Me and my friend Oscar Swartz took the car from Prague to deliver several hundred copies of Destroyer 06 to Destroyer’s German distribution central. (Most copies were shipped from Prague yesterday, but since many readers live in Germany, Destroyer is also shipped from there.)
Despite both Germany and the Czech Republic are part of the Schengen Agreement, we were waived to the side by a police car at the border crossing. It was a routine check. The officer asked us if we had any drugs or weapons in the vehicle, and we said we didn’t. Then he searched the car thoroughly with a flashlight. His face didn’t reveal what he thought when he found seven boxes filled with Destroyer Magazine in the trunk.
A male and a female officer joined him. They took a copy of Destroyer with them, along with our passports, to the police car. Oscar and I waited in our car. I was counting the minutes, since I thought every extra minute made the situation more embarrassing for the cops.
After about 20 minutes one of them came back with our passports and the copy of Destroyer that they had borrowed. ”Alles klar!” he said and let us go. All clear!
I retell this little story since I know some readers are afraid that Destroyer walks the line of the law. Now you know it doesn’t.

I heard rumors about they check the licence plate while approaching the boarder so they can pick cars which owners are “well” known. I had some strange experience with the same boarder too. They checked my driving licence when heading to prague. So what has a german border officer to do with that???

I’m pretty sure they checked us for 2 reasons only:
1. We were the only car for miles.
2. It was a rental car, which the police can see from the license plate.

This is good to hear about Germans, but I would be extremely interested to hear if anyone has had a similar experience with English Customs

I think it would be the same thing in England, onw. As Oscar and I browsed the magazine in our car, while the police officers did the same in theirs, we concluded that there is nothing whatsoever in Destroyer that could be of interest for the authorities. There’s not even any nudity in D6.

What, no nudity!? Are you getting old and soft Karl?
Jokes aside, that was a great story, can’t wait the arrivan of my copy of D6.

I think they were reading it. Them cops was probably were facinated that a boy mag could be so much fun. If you get a subscription request from a German police station don’t be surprized.
